Yellowstone is better late … full stop.

17th Dallas International Film Festival

Yellowstone is one of the most anticipated television shows of this fall possibly since the fan base is used to its traditional beginning of Father’s Day as a release date. However, with Taylor Sheridan’s increased production of two additional shows he is helming 1883 the Yellowstone prequel and the Jeremy Renner helmed mayor of Kingstown these increased production schedules delayed the completion of Yellowstone until this November much to the dismay of the fan base.

It has been my belief; however, paramount’s delay of Yellowstone’s release may be to throw a monkey wrench in the ratings of the broadcast big Sunday dramas on the 4 major networks. Cable TVs #1 Drama could devour the ratings this Sunday even giving the high valued Sunday Night Football’s Titans vs Rams game a knock in the ratings.

Last season’s ending cliffhanger was almost a combination of four who shot Dallas is cementing this shows true connection to a mafia style movie of the godfather validity.

** If you haven’t seen season three spoiler warning.**

As we’ve been shown at the end of season three and with the season 4 trailer John Dutton the patriarch of the Dutton family sit bleeding having been shot multiple times while trying to help a family changed the tire on their car. Casey Dutton is forced to flip his desk and pull his revolver to save himself, and Beth Dutton ends the season with a bomb exploding in her office.

The most impressive part at what show creator Taylor Sheridan has accomplished with Yellowstone is by providing context to the plight of American ranchers and American farmers against the ever-expanding technology and industry of this growing world. Sheridan provides true love understanding and feeling as in the audience to the connection of the Dutton family

But aside from the family carnage Jamie appears to have been spared any danger leaving the audience to believe this aggression could be linked to the states District Attorney and Dutton adopted son, possibly through his newfound biological father.
